1. About Summit

Summit is an AI-powered study tool built for Scottish students preparing for SQA examinations. It is operated by Grades Summit UK ("we", "us", "our"). By using Summit at usesummit.co.uk, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

Summit is intended for students aged 13 and over. If you are under 16, you should have the permission of a parent or guardian to use this service. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Pro Plans

Summit offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. The free plan includes 10 messages per day and access to Concept Chat mode for one subject. The Pro plan, currently priced at £6.99 per month, includes unlimited messages, all four study modes, all available subjects, the Weakness Tracker, and the Revision Planner.

Pricing and features may change. We will give you reasonable notice of any changes to your subscription price.

5. Payments and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before your renewal date. You can cancel at any time from within the app — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will retain Pro access until then.

All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the service.

7. AI-Generated Content

Summit uses artificial intelligence to generate study guidance. While we work to make responses accurate and aligned with SQA marking, AI can make mistakes. Summit's responses should be used as a study aid and not treated as a guaranteed representation of official SQA marking decisions. We are not affiliated with the Scottish Qualifications Authority.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with Summit is owned by Grades Summit UK. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Summit is provided as a study tool and we make no guarantees regarding exam outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Summit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

12. Contact

If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us at gradessummit@gmail.com.
